  1. Obviously addChild(mc1); works on a single clip, but how would I bring the current movie clip in the sequence to the front? Thanks. Here's my code. var mcArray:Array = new Array(mc1,mc2,mc3,mc4,mc5); var timeline:TimelineMax = new TimelineMax({repeat:1}); timeline.insertMultiple (TweenMax.allTo(mcArray, 2, {bezierThrough:[{z:0}, {z:-200}, {z:0}], orientToBezier:false, ease:Linear.easeNone}, 1));
  2. Could someone lend me some knowledge?!! Is it possible to take this addLabel string: overviewtl.addLabel("Sequence 01", overviewtl.duration); and have it update a dynamic text box on the stage. It's for client editing purposes, so they can have a reference to the sequence name within a long timelineMax build. My knowledge of AS3 really lets me down sometimes, but I usually manage from Carl's tutorials and the forums here to get what I need to work. This case, I'm stumped! I've already built in the progress bar and slider + play pause functions which all work a treat - this final bit would be the icing on the cake! Thanks in advance, Merrick
  3. Ok I have an idea for a game that is similar to the old lights-out game. I have done it before in Java and even on Android. But I want to do it in flash now. My delema is I want to use images for the buttons, each is a different color. I am looking for a way to dynamically change button colors. So when you press/click a button it will work through a set list of colors. I am trying to find the lite-st way to accomplish this. Maybe a multi-layer button, where I could tween a color layer, if that could even be done. If I could animation going I can handle the rest. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, cH
  4. So has anyone been using Adobe Edge? Ok, so I really thought about whether this should be shared or not (and promoting some possibly bad Greensock usage/code in the process - thus sort of being detrimental to the point of Greensock JS in the first place). But hey, it's still using Greensock JS after all.. This tutorial shows how to import and use Greensock JS within Adobe Edge: http://chrisgannon.w...ipt-adobe-edge/ Adobe Edge is the new HTML/jQuery based animation program, and it may SOME DAY end up being the equivalent to the Flash IDE. That's if Adobe can figure out a way - not just to make cool animations - but also to create better, re-usable code behind the pretty scenes (so that other people can actually edit it if they're developers and not just animators). If Adobe succeeds, then this method of being able to import Greensock JS into Edge might be like you can do to import Greensock libraries in Flash and use it in the program. Edge is only still in Beta and has a long way to go before it's ready to do any professional projects.. because the size of the files it creates and organization of code is not great, let's just say. As such, think of this tutorial, and Edge as only a fun thing to play around in for now! At least now we know Greensock JS is usable in it!
