  1. Hey Carl, To give a little background I have an array of orbs that will tween down to a location on a map(the map also has zoom capabilities). This particular project is a reduced version of a much larger project, doing my best to reduce the amount of re-coding that might be required. The issue is that when a user clicks to zoom the map and the orb tweens are not finished they stop and are then locked at the incorrect ending location. I'd like for the orbs to snap to their correct locations. This undesired action only occurs when the map is clicked during/before the Orb tweens have been completed. The map MC is also the parent to each Orb MC( is this possible an overwrite happening?) Well if you have any advice that would be greatly appreciated as always, and I look forward to your next as3 contest!
  2. I need to change this line to the object oriented syntax version: TweenMax.allFrom(eforeaSpaArray, 1, {y:-29, autoAlpha:0, ease:Cubic.easeOut}, .05); I have attempted many ways feeling like this is the closest but still received errors: var orbTween:TweenMax = TweenMax.allFrom(eforeaSpaArray, 1, {y:-29, autoAlpha:0, ease:Cubic.easeOut}, .05); returning the error: I can get .to and .from to work fine when using a movieClip as the target but not when I use .allFrom or .allTo with an array as the target. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  3. @jamiejefferson: fantastic rundown this helped me out a lot! Taught me a few things as well!
  4. If Im understanding you correctly. Have you tried using "mc.CC" and changing what you want. for instance: TweenMax.to(mc.CC, 1, {rotate=20}); This should rotate just the CC movieclip contained inside of mc movieclip.
  5. After a few days of trying to figure this out, I have not found a solution. Here is the desired result: I have a mc that is on the stage(ideally a map). I want to click on it and have the clicked location be centered in the middle of the stage. So to further visualize it lets say a user clicks near chicago,Illinois. I now would expect the map to be positioned on stage around the point near chicago,Illinois. Here is the current code that i cant seem to get right: function zoomIn(event:MouseEvent):void { //center on click TweenMax.to(mc, .25, {transformAroundPoint:{point:new Point(mc.mouseX, mc.mouseY), x:mc.width/2, y:mc.height/2}}); } it seems to work fine on the first click every time but on consecutive clicks it seems to act relative to the the current xy and not absolute. note:i plan to zoom(scale in) thus the name of the function, but i can handle that part.
