  1. I've got a 25% hearing loss (50% in one ear, so if you are on my right side I will know you are talking but will not be able to understand what you are saying) and I must say (althought not comparable to a more severe type of hearing loss) it really doesn't bother me. If anything, it makes me zone out and focus quite efficiently. ?
  2. AMP is Google taking a leaf out from Facebbok's book and trying to create its own walled garden. But I will conced it is groundbreaking technology.
  3. I've built my fair share of banners. I never agreed with the amount of animation and effects pushed into them - I was quite grateful of it as it gave me something to learn some basic frontend development and animation in a contained environment. But, as a customer, I can easily see how static ads would be more performant. They are less intrusive/annoying, all the information is there for the user to see at all times and if nicely designed, they are easier on the eyes. I feel ads online are better if they follow the print world style, rather than the TV world.
  4. Oh, look at this, it's a thread party! Whoop whoop whoop! So, I see the zooming in on Chrome and agree that is a jarring experience. It makes me think you have forgotten to add the meta tags for the zooming and scaling of the document. In fact, checking your original link, I don't see any of the metatags. If your are unfamiliar with codePen, press the settings button of your pen, look at the HTML tab and under the Stuff for <head> text area there's a button that says: "insert the most common viewport metatags". Click on that to add some common stuff, save your pen and check to see if that helps.
  5. Hey @ericnguyen23, I'm on Android phone right now and was not able to see any unexpected jumping around. What phone are you using? What browser? I'm on a Nokia running Firefox. Do you have this issue if you open your example pen in 'Debug' mode? It will help us figure out if it's something to do with codePen.
  6. Hi @marya, just to double check with you, this double clicking is happening when you are using the touch, right? Does it happen when using a mouse/trackpad?
  7. To message someone directly, the easiest way is to go to the person's profile. There is a 'message' button there. It will open a compose modal and whenever you get a reply, it will go to your own inbox. You should see a little envelop icon at the top of the site next to your profile name/icon. And you definitely do not want to go posting your email publicly in forums, you will only be inviting spam.
  8. Let us not hijack Marya's thread with this issue. She has a rather quirky issue herself that I am also trying to replicate without luck so far. It's best not to mix things up. Have you got another thread going on about draggable? If you do, send me a link to it and we'll continue there. If you don't, create one and we'll go to town with it there.
  9. Don't get me wrong, I am not doubting there's an issue here but it's not as clear cut as "it's a bug in draggable" because, as said before, four people have tried, only one is getting the issue. Like it or not, we have to focus on your setup first and foremost to try and figure out what is going on. I know it sounds far fetched and I understand it works once you set edgeResistance to zero the problem goes away. I could be such an obscure thing... Did you try it in a incognito window? Just for the sake of ruling that out?
  10. It could potentially be that, yes. It's likely it is going to be something like that. An extension or something extra in his machine as now four people have tested and only one seem to be having the issue.
  11. To add another datapoint, I too cannot reproduce and am on a Mac, with Chrome Version 76.0.3809.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) What extensions have you got installed in your browser? Can you try it in a icognito window with any extensions on? @marya his pointer glows when clicking because of his screen recording software. Some of them offer the option to show a circle when recording every time the user clicks. Others even show which mouse button was clicked or keyboard key pressed.
  12. For what it is worth: I have updated the skeleton repo with my findings after your reports, @mosk. I take you are using Drupal as a headless CMS, right? I have very little experience with that sort of stuff but as simple as a example you can provide us is very helpful. Otherwise, we'll be shooting in the dark here and probably making comments that are not pertinent to your case. When I get some time, I'll try and do a Nuxt install in SPA and static mode to test all the premium plugins. So far, I haven't needed to use them and only had a couple of projects using Nuxt so far.
  13. Others might have worked. I know that one can use Barba + GSAP and WordPress together as I've met others who have worked with it. I just haven't done myself. Hopefully someone will chime in on the matter is you'll find enough information in the other threads.
  14. There have, however, been other discussions here about using Barba in the past, maybe if you search around you'll find something that might be of use? https://greensock.com/forums/search/?page=1&q=barba
  15. Nuxt does not like ES modules. Never has. Hopefullly, one day will. Like, the day Node does.
  16. Right, I got it working. Bloody Nuxt and its ES5 underlying system. It really bothers me that you write in ES6+ syntax with Nuxt but their underlying import/export system is all UMD. In the end it was the SSR that was causing the trouble. It's late here and I won't write a full explanation right now. Might do later, might just update the repo I made to incorporate these quirks we've just found. Assuming you ARE using the UMD version of the premium plugins, chuck them into the vendor folder as originally suggested BUT DO NOT import them. You'll need to require those buggers. Because SSR. /* * The two bellow will not work */ // import GSDevTools from '~/assets/vendor/GSDevTools' // import SplitText from '~/assets/vendor/SplitText' /* * This will work. Why? Beats me, something to do with how backend, frontend works. */ if(process.client) { const SplitText = require('~/assets/vendor/SplitText') const GSDevTools = require('~/assets/vendor/GSDevTools') } export default { //... } One needs to really have some legacy knowledge to do the 1+1 = 2 here. https://nuxtjs.org/faq/window-document-undefined/
  17. @GreenSock There's definitely something fishy here. I can replicate some of the issues @mosk is reporting. Not quite sure why, though. The funny thing is, ThrowProps, for example, works. SplitText borks during build file. It might be SSR, thought. I'll need to look into it more later.
  18. CodePen is great for small interfaces and code snippets. You can use their 'Projects' to create full applications but you'll be limited by your account tier. For bigger applications or frameworks like Nuxt, CodeSandbox is a good option. Between CodePen and CodeSandbox you should be able to create anything your heart desire. Not that it helps much here as you're having issues with the Premium Club Greensock plugins. We kindly ask you to not put any of the premium plugins on open repositories or online editors. As for your issue, I don't see anything sticking out from reading your posts. What I'll do is, as soon as I find a little bit of downtime at work, I'll try and create a working prototype with the plugins you seem to be having an issue. Do you have a preference to any of them?
  19. Hi @mosk, Could you provide us with a minimal setup that shows what you are trying? I assume you looked at the repo I placed in this thread so, there might be some difference as the repo should cover all those questions you have.

    bug on iphone

Hi @Nexal I've seen that nobody has yet responded to your question here and I'd like to help. But, first, I have to comment on the fact that you have nearly 200 lines of code for an animation that it looks like should be two tweens, more or less. You're also calling some Swup() method that does not exist and attempting to load several scripts from other locations that are failing. If you could remove the uncessary code from your example, it will make it a lot easier for us to help you and for you to identify what could be causing your issue.
  21. You work on Words with Friends? I know someone who works on that as well. His name is Daniel Tavares. If you know him, poke him on the ribs for me, please. Tell him it's from Pedro. He'd better know who Pedro is.
  22. You're close, almost there. Now are just typos and missing functions. - There's an extra "}" in line 14. - You still have "dispatchEventType" in your onCompleteParams that doesn't exist. - Although it works, you don't need the "this" in front of handleDabComplete and in onCompleteScope
  23. That's fine James, places like CodePen just make it easier for us to actually see the code in context. It's not that GSAP is affiliated with CodePen or anything of the sort, you can use any online code editor of your choice as long as there's a way for us to see the code and tweak it live. It makes a world of difference when trying to figure out what is going on. For your example pen, you have a few issues. You need to include any libraries you intend to use. To do that: Click on the button that says "Settings" on the top right of the screen, to add JavaScript libraries, click on the "JavaScript" tab, there's a search bar, type the name of the library and pick from the results. I'm guessing you will be wanting GSAP and jQuery from what I saw in your code. After that, you have some unconventional setup that I am not familiar with. I am not sure what you expect $("anim") to return but I am pretty sure it won't be an object that you can access with "this.anim.scale". So, you might need some refactoring there. Also, you are setting an onCompleteParams with a "dispatchEventType" that doesn't exist - this will throw errors and cause your JavaScript to break. Finnaly you have a onCompleteScope set to "this" that looks redundant to me. I've made the bellow for you as an example, see if it helps: https://codepen.io/dipscom/pen/78011deb148a2f61e48f377f2921f525?editors=0011
  24. Although we can't offer help on full site/application builds, we are more than happy to help with anything GSAP related so, if you find yourself stuck, let us know and I am sure there will always be someone around to lend a hand.
  25. Hi @james.davies, Welcome to the Forums! Your callback should be onComplete: handleYoyoComplete - without the "()". It should fire at the end of the Tween, after it has repeated. I can't see what is wrong or why you are not seeing the result as expected. Could you provide a reduced case example? CodePen has supports TypeScript, you should be able to get it running there without any issues.
