Error #2099 subloading bug?

Recommended Posts

I just started working with LoaderMax and it worked quite well till the point I wanted to load the project into another project also with SWFLoader.

It throw's an error that it cannot figure out what the width of the swf is. The same code loading another swf where no LoaderMax stuff was used at all just worked fine. I don't see anything wrong with my code here.

I attached the project, so it would be cool if you can try to export the b2s_special.fla and tell me why it is throwing this error:

Error: Error #2099: Das ladende Objekte ist noch nicht weit genug geladen, um diese Informationen zu liefern.
at flash.display::LoaderInfo/get width()
at com.greensock.loading.display::ContentDisplay/_update()
at com.greensock.loading.display::ContentDisplay/set rawContent()

at flash.display::DisplayObjectContainer/addChild()

the only FLA I see is b2s_vidogame.fla which compiled without error but it didn't do anything. I only saw a blank stage.

I do not see the b2s_special.fla file that you instructed us to compile.

Please double-check that you have provided the proper files.

Hi Carl,

sorry, the svn export failed to export this file.

You can download the projects from here

It appears you were using a quite old version of the platform (11.66)

Compiling with 12.0.16 makes the error go away, you can grab it here: http://www.greensock.com/?download=GSAP-AS3

I noticed you had separate com/greensock folders. Please be sure to update the greensock files in both locations and re-export all the swfs so that they are all using the same version.

When switching to v12 be sure to read about ALL the new features:

There are a few small things that have changed with the syntax for animation tools but LoaderMax and other loading tools shouldn't cause any migration issues at all.
