Recommended Posts

Hey there. I'd love to know if there is any way to disable all the debug out LoaderMax generates because I'm just such a sucky programmer. and all the output gives me headache.

Regards,

Simon

hmm. I don't know of a way to configure Flash to suppress run-time errors.

I would imagine the larger headache would come from your application not working and having no idea why than the trouble of actually having to see the errors.

perhaps someone will know how to do this in a more generalized Flash support forum.

Sorry if I didn't explain my problem enough.

I don't want to suppress runtime erros, I just dont want LoaderMax to spam my console with stuiff like:

This output goes on for multiple A4 Pages if I'd print it out.

I already searched the API if theres a way to suppress this. However, these aren't runtime errors, these are the trace statements that are being shown when a runtime error is caught.

Yeah, that is intended to be helpful and ensure that you're aware that there are problems, but you can crack open the LoaderCore.as file and in the _errorHandler() method, delete (or comment out) the trace() there.
