Hi Jack

Groovy loader. Thanks. I am fast becoming a BIG fan of yours.

I have a project that needs this loader. I have thousands of EPS images that I am batch converting to SWF using Illustrator CS4... It exports them for Flash player 9. All fine so far.

However, when I use LoaderMax thus :

var queue:LoaderMax = new LoaderMax({name:"mainQueue"});

queue.append( new SWFLoader("clipart/Animals/Birds/Birds001.swf", {name:"mainClip", estimatedBytes:3000, container:this, autoPlay:true}) );

queue.load();

Flash generates this message at runtime :

Error #2180: It is illegal to move AVM1 content (AS1 or AS2) to a different part of the displayList when it has been loaded into AVM2 (AS3) content.

at flash.display::DisplayObjectContainer/addChildAt()

at com.greensock.loading.core::CommonLoader/_initHandler()

at com.greensock.loading::SWFLoader/_initHandler()

When I exclude

container:this

the error message does not appear... and neither does the image !

If I load like this, all is fine.

var fileLoader=new Loader ;

var fileRequest=new URLRequest("clipart/Animals/Birds/Birds001.swf");

fileLoader.load(fileRequest);

addChild(fileLoader);

Any ideas / solutions ?

Thanks

Jason

First of all, please make sure you're using the latest version of the LoaderMax system (updated today). If you're still having the trouble, could you send me an example FLA that demonstrates the problem?

I had yesterday's version.

Works fine
