Share Posted January 17, 2018 Not really. There are few projects which don't look practical for web. Then there are few which looked promising but died before getting famous and one which was most promising died before ever coming out as beta. Share Posted January 17, 2018 You might want to keep an eye on this one: https://spiritapp.io/ (we aren't directly involved in that, but it looks interesting). We've heard of a few other ones that may be in the works from others, but nothing solid yet.
Author Share Posted January 18, 2018 After few investigation, I find interesting plugin Bodymovin for After Effects, that makes web animations from after effects animations https://codepen.io/airnan/project/editor/ZeNONO maybe there is some parser exists that converts it to GS format. p.s. more about it http://airbnb.io/lottie/
Share Posted June 13, 2018 http://svgator.com Unfortunately this tool produces CSS animations (eeewh, I know!), but looks promising in terms of user experience. Since this thread aged 6 more months I'd like to ask the Elders again, if there are any plans or considerations to either collaborating with existing GUI editors to produce GSAP timelines or maybe even make your very own one? Share Posted June 13, 2018 We're still committed to remaining focused on the core library itself (rather than trying to take on building an entire GUI which is a very different skillset), but yes, some 3rd parties have indeed taken a crack at delivering a GUI for GSAP-based animations. A recent one (which I mentioned earlier) is https://spiritapp.io/. That launched within the past couple of months. To be clear, we're not endorsing it - I'm just making you aware that it exists. There are some rumblings of others on the way, but they're not polished yet and it's tough to know if they'll see the light of day. Happy tweening!
