DoubleClick validators for standard ads

Recommended Posts

Hey Folks,

Just got word that DC has launched two online validators for standard ads. You just upload your zip and it runs a bunch of checks against common issues. You even get a preview that allows you to watch the animation and see if click tags are implemented properly.

Standard Ads for DoubleClick Campaign Manager: https://h5validator.appspot.com/dcm

Standard Ads for DoubleClick Bid Manager: https://h5validator.appspot.com/dbm

Give it a whirl. If you have any problems just use the "Feedback" button in the lower right. Your issue will be reported directly to the dev team.

I did pass but, just a side not.  Even though i using the doubleclick hosted tweenmax im getting

'The creative calls a file hosted by a third party, which could be an issue if the third party cannot handle the high server load that display campaigns typically generate. To learn more about the referenced file and to confirm that the third-party server will be able to handle the load, contact the creative developer.

More details:
  • Error EXTERNAL_FILE_REFERENCED found in index.html."

Hi sousinho,

Thanks for the report. We've been told that the validator doesn't check against white-listed files (like TweenMax from DC's cdn), and although the warning could be written better, you should not have any problems.

This is ace! Actually surprised they managed to get these out pretty much when they said they would.

Could we sticky this?

Could someone confirm that DoubleClick accepts this CDN link despite the warning? (https://s0.2mdn.net/ads/studio/cached_libs/tweenmax_1.18.0_499ba64a23378545748ff12d372e59e9_min.js)
