Share Posted November 20, 2015 Hi guys, I finally registered a username after browsing this forum in the past. I am not a developer but I work with clients who have a bunch of HTML5 banner work coming up. I was wondering if there is a best place to view developer's portfolios? Could anyone point me in the right direction, or send me links directly to any portfolio sites here. Thanks! Luke PS. I certainly do not mean to spam this forum, so if this is not relevant to post here, or if you suggest a better resource / place to post then please let me know.
Share Posted November 21, 2015 Hi Luke, You are more than welcome to post your question here. I would love to see and promote more portfolios as well. Seems quite a few devs are under NDAs which keep them from sharing their masterpieces. Even the big agency sites seem to be lacking. For general inspiration DoubleClick's rich media gallery had some pretty cool stuff to see https://www.richmediagallery.com
Share Posted November 21, 2015 My case is more that I just don't spend the time to put a portfolio together. The NDA is implicit when the work is being carried on, no client wants their campaign leaking into online forums before it is official, you know. After that, it is generally ok (in my case the laziness plays a big part as a deterrent).
Share Posted November 21, 2015 Here are a few we've designed and coded with GSAP in the past few months, trafficked and live. Sometimes it's hard showcasing the 'display ad' work--we do need to create a dedicated digital ad portfolio as well! http://gannett.visualla.com/holiday-2015-2/html5/slopes-and-trees/mm/lansing-300x250/lansing-300x250.html http://gannett.visualla.com/holiday-2015-2/html5/pine-cones/mm/indy-300x250/indy-300x250.html http://gannett.visualla.com/fall-camo-2015/html5/MM-SIZES/monroe-300x250/monroe-300x250.html http://gannett.visualla.com/thanksgiving-2015/html5MM/jacksonMS-300x250/jacksonMS-300x250.html
Author Share Posted November 23, 2015 Cool - thanks for the info so far. Anyone who wants to send me a portfolio please feel free, or at least a link to your website or samples of work and I can include you on my list of devs. I guess a lot of people don't have a portfolio / showcase for a lot of their work - most likely too busy to update portfolio galleries anyway..!! Share Posted June 9, 2016 Moat.com use to be a great place to see display in the good old days of Flash. You used be able to hover over ads and see the animation. Looks mostly static now. Here are some Father's Day ads I did recently: http://cwiens.com/curt/shutterfly_fathersday_2016/

Share Posted March 18, 2017 Adform (Adserver) also has a cool rich media gallery with past campaigs... http://showroom.adform.com/creative-space but I guess all adservers will have such portfolios, like Doubleclick as mentioned above... Sizmek and Flashtalking might be worth looking as well Cheers, Mariana

Share Posted April 7, 2017 I definitely can recommend to use www.moat.com. You can search on brand and find 'all' associated ads. For example, Google ads on https://moat.com/advertiser/google?report_type=display PS. On our blog we also share some banner inspiration, www.adpiler.com/blog/

Share Posted April 6, 2018 Hey here is a GSAP HTML5 Banner framework i built for Flight Centre Australia where i work. https://bradleylancaster.com/portfolio/flight-centre-html5-banner-framework-gsap/ The framework is build using In and In-Out transitions based on functions so that different frames can be played at different times. So based on the product type if it has Bonus Text, Tick Frames, Save Frames, Standard Frames things can be chained together. This really worked i created hundreds of banners over the past six months for them for many different campaigns. I will be building up this page soon to demonstrate the theory and logic behind it soon but there are live links available now to see some of the sets in action.
