TweenMax resume and pause functions do not accept parameters

Recommended Posts

Hi.

We have a GreenSock TweenMax animation. Now we want to pause an objects animation, and have it resume the animation later on at exactly that point. If we just use resume(), then the animation jumps forward of course. So we wanted to pass resume() or play() parameters to have the animation resume at the points where it was stopped. However, the parameters are ignored. It doesn't matter what we enter there. So, for example:

object.pause() pauses the animation

object.resume() makes it jump a little bit forward

object.resume(0) does exactly the same, as does object.play(20) or whatever we try

No error message is shown.

What are we missing?

Thanks for any help

hi and welcome to the GreenSock forums,

Really tough to troubleshoot without seeing what you are doing.

I tried replicating what you described and everything seems to work as expected: http://codepen.io/GreenSock/pen/KdeoMq?editors=001

Please provide the simplest demo possible to illustrate the problem you are having.
